Reddit Comment History

Restores comment/post history on Reddit profile pages using the Arctic Shift archive API.

Reddit's profile pages sometimes show a blank comment/post history — even for accounts that are active and public — with no explanation. This extension fixes that. **What it does** When you visit a Reddit profile and Reddit shows no history, this extension automatically fetches that user's public comment and post history from Arctic Shift (a free, independent archive of Reddit data) and displays it directly on the page in place of the blank area — styled to match Reddit's own light/dark theme. **Features** - Separate Comments and Posts tabs - Sort by newest, oldest, top score, or most downvoted - Filter by subreddit, or search comment/post text with match highlighting - "Load more" pagination beyond the first 100 results - Copy a direct link to any comment or post - Remembers your last-used tab and sort order - Automatically hides Reddit's own tab strip and sort control on affected profiles, since neither does anything useful when there's no native feed **What it doesn't do** - No accounts, sign-in, or login of any kind - No analytics, tracking, or advertising - No data is collected, sold, or shared — see the privacy policy for exact details of what's sent to the Arctic Shift API (just the username already visible in the page URL) and what's stored locally (two UI preferences, never transmitted anywhere) **A note on the data source** This extension relies on Arctic Shift (arctic-shift.photon-reddit.com), a free, independently-run archive with no uptime guarantee. If that service is ever slow, unavailable, or discontinued, this extension will be unable to fetch history until it's back. This is disclosed here rather than presented as a rare edge case, since it is a real dependency outside this extension's control.
