RedactNinja helps reviewers redact PDFs, images, screenshots and email evidence without uploading files to a server. Choose a PDF or image from your device, select built in UK PII detection rules, add names or keywords, add do not redact terms, and download a redacted file. RedactNinja can also clean basic PDF metadata, run a visible redaction safety check and create a downloadable redaction receipt. RedactNinja also includes screenshot redaction for webpages. Start screenshot redaction, cover visible webpage text, click page items to hide them, draw black boxes, then export the screenshot as PNG, JPG or PDF. This is useful for support tickets, school systems, Microsoft 365 screens, admin portals, helpdesk records and case notes. The extension can also convert supported email evidence to PDF, helping reviewers prepare material from SAR exports and mailbox evidence. RedactNinja does not upload selected files, does not use analytics and does not collect personal data. PDF, image and email evidence processing happen locally in the extension page. Screenshot redaction uses current-tab access only after the user starts screenshot mode, so it can place a temporary redaction toolbar and screenshot-only overlays on the active page. A human reviewer should always check the output before disclosure.
