Overview

Locally redact PII in AI chat drafts using nationaldesignstudio/rampart (Transformers.js). Draft text never leaves your browser.

Redact AI helps you remove sensitive information from PDFs and supported AI chat composers (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, CoPilot) before it leaves your device. Use it to scan PDFs for names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, dates, cards, account references, and other personal information. Review every finding, choose what to keep visible, then export a flattened redacted PDF. Key Features: ✅ Local: scan PDFs in your browser without uploading document content. ✅ Review before export: inspect detected PII and toggle findings on or off. ✅ Flattened redacted export: export a redacted PDF where accepted redactions are burned into the page. ✅ OCR support: detect sensitive text in image-heavy or scanned PDF content. ✅ Batch workflow: open multiple PDFs at once and start scanning locally.
