Record Wow helps you capture screenshots, explain ideas with annotations, and start screen recordings from your Chrome toolbar. CAPTURE SCREENSHOTS • Capture the visible part of a page, a full page, or a selected area. • Capture after a three-second delay. • Choose a screen or app window. • Open an image from your device or paste one from your clipboard. ANNOTATE AND SAVE • Crop images and add arrows, text, shapes, highlights, callouts, and numbered steps. • Draw with the pen or highlighter. • Blur selected areas before saving. • Save your edited screenshot as a PNG. • Extract English text using OCR that runs locally on your device. RECORD VIDEO Choose your recording source and camera and microphone preferences, then continue to the Record Wow web recorder. Chrome asks you to choose what to share. Video recording and editing happen in the Record Wow web app and require a free account. Screenshot tools work without signing in. OPTIONAL WALKTHROUGH TOOLS Capture mouse activity to help position automatic zoom in Record Wow, or download matching mouse metadata. Advanced tools let you review and run explicit click and scroll plans on the selected page. Connecting a workspace navigation key enables these optional tools. Form values are excluded from their metadata. CONTROL YOUR CAPTURE Screenshot editing and English OCR run locally. The extension does not upload screenshots. Optional mouse pairing and navigation connections exchange the data needed for the features you enable. Full-page capture supports up to 20,000 CSS pixels or 32 megapixels. Complex scrolling pages may need selected-area capture. Chrome restricts capture on some protected browser pages. Record Wow is free.
