RecoMe
Overview
Intelligent recommendation feed control. Your feed, your rules.
RecoMe puts you in control of your recommendation feeds across the web. Every platform shows you what its algorithm decides. RecoMe flips that — you tell it what you want to see more of, what you'd rather skip, and it reshapes your feed in real time. How it works: • RecoMe adds a small overlay to each content card in your feed. Tap thumbs-up to boost similar content, or block topics you're tired of seeing. • A local scoring engine learns your preferences and dims or hides low-relevance items automatically. • All data stays on your device — nothing is sent to any server. Works on major shopping, video, and social platforms including product search results, video feeds, and social timelines. Optional AI Enhancement: Bring your own API key (Claude, GPT, or Gemini) to unlock smarter topic extraction and a built-in chat agent that helps you fine-tune your preferences through conversation. Key capabilities: • Real-time feed filtering with a 5-factor scoring engine • Topic blocking and boosting with one click • Adjustable aggressiveness — from subtle dimming to full hiding • Context modes (work, shopping, entertainment, learning, social) • Knowledge graph that tracks your interests over time • Export and import your preference data • Works entirely offline — no account required RecoMe is open-source and free. Your feed, your rules.
