Recipe to Grams – Convert Cups to Grams
Overview
One click converts cups, spoons, ounces and °F on any recipe page to grams, ml and °C – per ingredient, not one size fits all.
Tired of American recipes in cups? One click, and every measurement on the page gets a metric label right next to it. A cup of flour and a cup of sugar don't weigh the same. Recipe to Grams knows the difference: it recognises around 70 common ingredients and converts each with its own weight. • 1 cup all-purpose flour → ≈ 120 g • 1 cup brown sugar → ≈ 213 g • ½ cup butter → ≈ 114 g • 1 cup milk → ≈ 240 ml • 350 °F → ≈ 175 °C HOW IT WORKS 1. Open any recipe page. 2. Click the Recipe to Grams icon (or right-click → Convert this recipe to grams, or press Alt+Shift+G). 3. Metric amounts appear next to the originals. Click again to go back. WORKS EVERYWHERE Any recipe site or food blog – no list of supported sites. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Runs only when you click it • Everything happens on your computer – nothing is sent anywhere • No account, no tracking, no ads GOOD TO KNOW Ingredient weights are typical averages, so results are approximate (≈). Liquids and ingredients the extension doesn't recognise are shown in millilitres. If a page already gives grams, it's left alone. Found a recipe it gets wrong? Email me the line and the site – I fix these fast.
