Recipe Extractor

Skip the life story and the pop-up ads. One click shows just the ingredients and steps.

Skip the life story. Get the recipe. You wanted a recipe and got a 2,000-word essay, six ads, a newsletter pop-up and a video that follows you down the page. Recipe Extractor fixes that. Click the button (or press Alt+Shift+R) and the recipe appears on its own, clean and readable, right on top of the page. MADE FOR COOKING • Ingredients and steps side by side, nothing else • Change the servings and every amount adjusts: 1½ cups becomes 3 cups, 100g becomes 200g • Tick off ingredients as you add them • Tap a step when it's done, and the next one is highlighted • Cook mode keeps your screen from going dark while your hands are messy • Print just the recipe, or copy it as plain text • Follows your dark mode setting YOUR OWN RECIPE BOX Save the keepers with one click and find them later by name or ingredient. Saved recipes stay on your computer. WORKS ON ALMOST EVERY RECIPE SITE Recipe Extractor reads the standard recipe information most food sites include for search engines, so it works on big recipe sites and small food blogs alike, with no per-site setup. For older sites without it, it looks for the ingredients and directions lists on the page. FREE AND PRIVATE No account, no subscription, no ads, no tracking. It only reads a page when you click the button, and nothing ever leaves your browser. Recipe Extractor is an independent project and is not affiliated with any recipe website.
