Overview
List recent bookmarks in a toolbar menu.
This is a very simple extension that lists the most recent bookmarks. Each bookmark is labelled with it's parent folder name. At the bottom are buttons to quickly move a bookmark to an "Archive" folder or to delete the bookmark. https://github.com/Zren/RecentBookmarksPopup

I have just started using this as a replacement for "Recent Bookmarks" 1.6.2 by zamtools , as that one has not received an update for 10yrs & is an MV2 extension & will soon not work. What I like about Recent Bookmarks Popup is that you show the folder the bookmark is added to, & the colour coding of the folders is a nice touch. This was a feature missing on Recent Bookmarks. Very helpful extension. Thank you. I was looking for an extension that can reorder my bookmarks (append new ones at the top of the list so I don't have to scroll all the way down to find it). But this one seems to be even better.

Thank you very much! Add filter by title and url, please. And, if it possible, add remove button (x) for every bookmark.

You typically would put the X button on the far right of each list item. However since the popup appears from the top right, the mouse has to move left overtop those delete buttons every time. You're bound to accidentally delete a bookmark instead of launching it if I add the X button imo. It's a shame that you can't add the "edit/delete bookmark" as a contextmenu option when right clicked. While it was documented in the Firefox API, it didn't work. I don't see it mentioned at all in the Chrome API. You can also search bookmarks by typing `*` in the address bar, but I guess I should add a filter since you might want to mass archive them or delete them maybe?
