## Detailed description Reading is easy. Remembering — and actually understanding — is the hard part. RecallLoop turns reading into learning. Select any passage on any page and choose a "lens" for exactly the kind of help you need. RecallLoop explains it in plain language using AI, right where you're reading — no copy-pasting into another tab. **Four built-in lenses, one for each way you get stuck:** • Define — "I don't know this word" • Rephrase — "I can't parse this sentence" • Explain — "I don't understand this idea" • Examine — "I don't follow the argument" **Make it yours.** Create custom lenses with your own prompts — an analogy, a steelman, a translation, whatever fits how you read. **Save what matters.** Turn any explanation into a card. Your cards live in a clean Library — grouped into your own categories, filtered by any mix of lenses and categories, and searchable across text, notes, and sources. **Show only the lenses you use.** Switch built-in or custom lenses on and off so your selection menu stays focused on how *you* read. **Echo — learn words by seeing them again.** Mark the words you're trying to learn and RecallLoop weaves them into future AI explanations, highlighting them so repetition does the work for you. New saves can join the list automatically, up to a rolling 50. **Remember it for real.** RecallLoop schedules your saved cards for review using spaced repetition (an SM-2-style algorithm) — the proven method for moving knowledge into long-term memory.
