Recall AI Assistant
Overview
A private, searchable AI memory for useful webpages you visit.
Recall AI Assistant is a local-first browsing memory that helps you find, organize, and understand useful webpages you have visited. After you explicitly enable Automatic Memory, Recall can save readable text from supported webpages that remain open long enough. Saved webpage memories, projects, settings, and visit records are stored locally in your browser. Use Recall’s persistent side panel to: • Search webpages you previously visited • Ask questions about the current page or selected saved sources • Reopen original webpages through source links • Organize useful information into projects • Review and delete your browsing-memory timeline • Pause automatic memory or exclude individual websites Recall is designed to avoid restricted pages, known sensitive websites, password fields, payment fields, form entries, hidden elements, and browser-controlled pages. Recall does not automatically send every webpage you visit to an AI provider. When you intentionally submit an AI question, Recall selects relevant saved sources and sends the question and selected source content to its secure Supabase-hosted backend, which uses OpenAI to produce a grounded response. You can pause automatic capture, exclude websites, delete individual memories, set retention preferences, or erase all Recall data through the Privacy controls. Recall is currently an early beta.
