ReallyFree tells you whether a "free" site is actually free — before you waste a signup, a card number, or ten minutes finding out the hard way. Search results and web pages are full of "free" claims that turn out to mean "free trial, card required," "free after you make an account," or "free for the first three uses." ReallyFree gives you a plain verdict, as a colored dot: - Green dot — really free. Verified, with a receipt you can read. - Yellow dot — free with one catch, and the word says which (for example a watermark on your work, or you can't export it). - Red dot — it costs money: a price, a paywall, or a subscription you must pay to use it. - Grey dash — nothing to judge (an article, a review, a list). - Grey dot — we read the page and honestly couldn't pin it down. - Blue "?" — not checked yet. Tap it and we'll go check, right then — we say so instead of guessing a colour. Click the toolbar icon on any page for a verdict on that page. On Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo results, pages we've checked show their dot next to the link, and unchecked "free"-looking results get a blue "?" — tap it and we'll check it. Free, forever, no account. ReallyFree is free to use, with no membership, no paid tier, and no sign-up to browse. You never hand over a card, and there's nothing to buy inside it. If we got one wrong, tell us in one click. Every verdict in the popup carries a report link, and a person reads every one. What ReallyFree does NOT do: it does not read your browsing history, does not track you across sites, does not require an account, and never scans pages in the background — it checks a page when you click the toolbar icon, and search results only on the three search engines named above. Anonymous by design. ReallyFree never collects browsing history. A report you choose to send contains only the page, the reason, and the verdict — nothing else.
