Overview

Flip AI-generated images off across any page so you only see real photos when hunting for references.

Flip one switch. See what's real. Real View hides AI-generated images across your browsing — so when you're hunting for real reference photos, real recipes, or just a real answer, you're not wading through a feed of synthetic content. HOW IT WORKS No single trick catches everything, so Real View runs a stack of checks, lightest first: 1. Metadata & source signals (always on, free) Reads embedded generator tags left in image files, and checks the source domain against a large, refreshable list of known AI platforms. 2. On-device visual model (opt-in) When metadata and domain give no answer, a machine-learning model examines the actual pixels — right there in your browser. Nothing is ever uploaded. In our own testing it correctly classifies roughly 84% of images — not perfect, and it stays quiet rather than guess when unsure. 3. Your own corrections Right-click any image to flag a miss or fix a false positive. Corrections are remembered instantly, just for you. WORKS WHERE YOU ACTUALLY SEARCH Google Images, Bing Images and DuckDuckGo all hide an image's true source behind their own proxies — Real View resolves it anyway. Pinterest gets its own dedicated hook. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No analytics. No advertising. No server operated by Real View that anything is ever sent to. The on-device model runs entirely on your machine — there's no cloud version of that feature. Full details in the privacy policy, and the entire source code is public. WHO IT'S FOR - Reference & mood-boarding: hunting for real photographic reference without forty AI renders in the way - Sourcing & fact-checking: checking whether a product shot or news photo is an actual photograph - Browsing without the slop: cleaning up feeds that have quietly filled with synthetic content Built and maintained by one person, not a company. Free to use — if it saves you the scroll, a coffee or a GitHub Sponsors pledge goes a long way, but there's no account, no catch, and no upsell hiding behind the free version.
