Real Deal UK - Price History

Shows whether a UK shop's sale price is real. Records prices on Argos, Currys, John Lewis and supermarkets as you browse.

Is that sale price really a deal? Real Deal UK shows you. Shops often show a "Was £129.99, Save £40" label when the product has sold at the lower price for months. Real Deal UK keeps its own record of what you've seen a product cost, and tells you whether today's price is actually lower than usual. HOW IT WORKS - Open a product page on a supported UK shop and the extension records the price. - Press "Watch for price drops" and it re-checks the price a few times a day, even when you're not on the page. - When you come back, a small panel on the page shows the current, lowest, highest and usual price, with a price chart and a plain verdict, such as "Below its usual price" or "Above its usual price. Consider waiting." - Get a notification when a watched product drops in price. WHERE IT WORKS Major UK electricals, home and department stores, plus the big supermarkets' online shops. The panel appears automatically on supported product pages. GOOD TO KNOW Price history starts from the first time you view a product. On day one you'll see "First time seen", and the verdicts get more reliable the longer a product is watched. Start watching things you're thinking of buying well before big sales, so you'll know whether the sale price is real.
