Readwise Highlighter

"Reader is like those, except it’s built for 2023" It's 2025? This review is for set-up. I hope if I keep at it that I will understand it, maybe by 2023? More handholding please, I really need this.

Great extension generally but doesnt work on Arc browser - Not sure if others are facing too but i just dont see Save Highlight to Readwise in context menu.

Why does it run in the background when Chrome is closed? I can't even seem to find a setting a disable this. This is creepy.

The Chrome version of this plugin does not automatically show the highlight I made before. Each time I need to click the plugin again to re-load it to the website to show the highlight..

Readwise Reader is an absolutely indispensable part of my knowledge system. I constantly run into interesting articles but don't have time to read them in the moment. Readwise lets me save them for when I do have time and formats them in a distraction-free way for focused reading. If you highlight a code block using this plugin and review in readwise review, the linebreak is missing, which means all code is in ONE LINE. This maks the plugin difficulty to use

Have been using it with Vivaldi Browser for more than a year, not with the latest version of the browser I get a crash when opening the browser if the extension is active :(

Super useful for Readwise Reader users. I use it daily to collect and annotate the relevant pages I read while surfing.
