Although its great, there is a major issue, in majority of the cases I don't see the play button and it doesn't read the text to me.

Found you on reddit after a long journey of searching a adequate tool. I really like that you can select the text that is read by yourself, and also that German language is available. You can adjust the text speed and the pitch. Also works flawless on Opera GX browser so far. Thinks I noticed: When starting the audio, the first word ist often cut/ not fully hearable. Maybe ad a 1 second pause between the command and the execution? With so much AI everywhere nowadays, maybe you could include ... Show more

Thanks for the suggestion Ichite! Yeah, adding a small delay sounds like a good solution to solve the initial startup issue. I'll make sure to add that! I'm also planning to add AI voice that sounds natural too, and they are not that complex to implement. But, adding them will cost the user, and I wanted it to be free for everyone. Also, I see a lot of open source models for TTS. will see if I can add it in the next version.

I am often multi-tasking so I'm always looking for a good text-to-speech program. This one works well, the "Google US English" female voice is pleasant to listen to. there are no intrusive ads. Really impressed. Simple and straight forward.

Great text to speech extension I have used so far. I have greater control over what I want to read now and not like other TTS whihc reads everything and sometimes misses words also the buttons looks cute. Is there any way I can change the colours?
