Overview
A clean, unified feed of the magazines and blogs you follow. Highlight, note, and keep what you learn.
Why I built this The way I interpret the world's skill hierarchy is that it starts with two primaries: 1. Reading - a way for us to know and learn from the ideas of others. 2. Writing - a way for us to sharpen our own ideas and thoughts and then share it with others. I hope this extension helps you refine the first primary skill mentioned above. It is to allow you as an user to read and learn from well written sources of dense information and be able to connect the dots on your own. I say connect the dots because this is best used as a daily news and events reader. My main goal here would be to continuously try and address the constraints that may limit you from being able to do this with ease. I welcome feedback through the issues page here - https://github.com/TitasDas/mag-reader/issues Readstand is built especially for those who are already on a tight budget and don't want to find themselves spending on subscription fees that can stack up quickly. At the same time, if you do appreciate the work and the journalism of any of the sources and have the means, I would urge you to buy a copy once in a while. Readstand will remain private and free for as long as fate allows. There are no algorithms tracking your clicks and choosing for you. Everything is stored locally on your device without the need for creating accounts.
