Make any web page easier to read with ReadScore. Focus on one paragraph at a time, adjust text spacing, and reduce distractions without replacing the original page with a separate reader view. Long articles, documentation, news, and blogs can be tiring to read. ReadScore provides simple reading tools for students, researchers, developers, and anyone who spends time reading online. Its customizable settings may also help people with dyslexia, ADHD, low vision, or eye strain. Focus — Read one paragraph at a time - Highlight the paragraph you're reading to keep your place. - Use J and K to move between paragraphs in Keyboard mode. - Enable Follow Scroll to highlight paragraphs near the middle of your screen. - Choose from yellow, blue, green, or dark highlights. - Pause or resume with Esc. Comfort — Make text easier to read - Choose Relaxed or Roomy spacing presets based on WCAG 1.4.12. - Customize line height, letter spacing, word spacing, and paragraph spacing. - Use the site's original font, sans serif, serif, or the bundled Atkinson Hyperlegible font. - Set a minimum text size of 18, 20, or 22 px without shrinking larger text. Calm — Reduce distractions - Reduce Motion stops animations and transitions and pauses muted background videos. - Blur Images softens large images and videos until you hover over or focus on them. - Show All Images reveals blurred content again with one click. Privacy ReadScore activates on a webpage only when you open its popup. It does not collect, track, or sell your data. It uses the activeTab and scripting permissions to apply reading adjustments and the storage permission to save your settings. How to use 1. Open a webpage and click the ReadScore icon in your Chrome toolbar. 2. Enable Focus, Comfort, or Calm. 3. Customize the settings to adjust your reading experience.
