Overview

Makes X/Twitter read-only: removes posting and replying. Browsing, likes, reposts and DMs keep working.

Turn X (Twitter) into a read-only feed. This extension removes every way to post or reply: - the "Post" button and the "What's happening?" composer on the home timeline - reply buttons and reply boxes under every post - the "n" (new post) and "r" (reply) keyboard shortcuts - direct links to the compose screen Everything else keeps working exactly as before: browsing, search, likes, reposts, bookmarks and direct messages. Great for anyone who wants to keep up with their timeline without getting pulled into arguments, or who is trying to break a posting habit. No settings, no account, no data collection. The extension runs only on x.com and twitter.com and contains no analytics or remote code.
