ReadLoudly – Text to Speech & PDF Reader

Listen to any webpage, PDF, or selected text aloud with ReadLoudly's built-in TTS reader.

ReadLoudly reads web pages and selected text aloud, right in the page you are on. • Listen to any article: open the ReadLoudly menu and press "Listen to this page", or press Alt+R. • Listen to a selection: select text and press the blue Listen button that appears above it. • Follow along: the sentence being read is highlighted in the page, so you never lose your place. Click any sentence to jump there. • Stays out of your way: one small player you can drag anywhere, in three styles (Calm, Dock or Bubble). On articles it appears ready but silent, and nothing ever plays on its own. Close it once and it stays closed on that site. • Your voice, your speed: choose from the natural voices on your device and switch speed from 0.75× to 2× at any time. • Light and dark: the player matches the page you are reading. • PDFs and more: open PDFs, pages and selections in the ReadLoudly web app for Pro voices, AI summaries and study tools. Pages are read aloud on your device with your browser's voices; the text you read is never sent to us. Optional usage and error data (tied to a random install ID, never the pages you read) helps us improve the extension and can be turned off in the menu.
