Overview
Save it now. Actually read it later. A minimal, local-first reading queue.
ReadLater is a minimal reading queue for Chrome. When you find something worth reading but don't have time, save it with one click or Alt+Shift+S (Option+Shift+S on Mac). ReadLater stores the page on your device and helps you come back to it: what to read next, how long it takes, and where you left off. What it does: - Save any page via the toolbar button, right-click menu, or keyboard shortcut - Save highlighted text, and see it highlighted again when you return - Detect duplicates so you never save the same page twice - Estimate reading time and track progress, so you can continue where you left off - Suggest what to read next with simple on-device rules - Filter by available time: 5, 10, 20, or 30+ minutes - Add notes, tags, and categories; search everything; archive finished reads - Export your library as JSON or delete everything at any time Privacy: - No accounts, no cloud, no analytics, no tracking - The extension makes no network requests; your library never leaves this browser - Works fully offline
