Powered by 100% on-device Text-to-Speech (TTS), it guarantees lightning-fast responses and complete privacy for your data. ✨ Key Features: Smart Extraction: Automatically extracts the main article, stripping away ads, menus, and noise. Word Highlighting: Follow along easily as spoken words are highlighted in real-time. 100% On-device: Runs locally via the Supertonic WebGPU engine. Your text is never sent to any server. Voice Customization: Choose from a variety of Voice Styles to suit your preference. 📖 How to use: 1. Read the current page: Open any article. Click the readit.dev extension icon in your toolbar (Popup) and hit Play. 2. Read selected text: Highlight any text on the page. Right-click and select "Read with readit.dev" from the context menu (or use the quick floating button). 3. Read pasted text: Open the extension's Side Panel. Paste your custom text into the input area and press Play. 4. Quick Controls: Easily play, pause, or switch Voice Styles directly from the Popup or Side Panel. 5.
