Overview

Shows a reading progress bar and starts a focus session timer when you scroll.

To turn the focus extension off toggle the switch to off and reload the page then it would be turned off. Reading Progress & Focus Timer is the perfect lightweight extension for students, writers, and knowledge-workers who want to: Visualize Your Progress A slim progress bar at the very top of any article shows you exactly how far you are through the page—no more guessing. Start Your Focus Session Automatically As soon as you scroll, a configurable timer (default 25 minutes) begins counting down. You’ll see the remaining minutes and seconds in the top right corner. Get a Gentle Break Reminder When time’s up, the page softly fades and an overlay pops up with a reminder. Click “OK” (or your own label) to reset and start a fresh session on the next scroll. Customize Your Workflow Click on the extension and input any session length—supporting whole minutes. All changes take effect instantly, across every tab and website. Global, Cross-Site Sessions Whether you’re jumping between news sites, documentation pages, or blogs, your timer runs in unison—no need to manually restart on each domain. Zero Dependencies, 100% Client-Side No servers, no tracking—just a few kilobytes of JavaScript and CSS. It works offline and respects your privacy.
