Reading List Shortcut Extension
17 ratings
)Overview
Add the current tab to the reading list using a keyboard shortcut.
Add the current tab to the reading list using a keyboard shortcut or the toolbar icon. Use the Alt + Shift + R keyboard shortcut (Option + Shift + R on Mac) to add the current tab to your reading list. You can also click the extension icon in the toolbar. If the shortcut does nothing, open chrome://extensions/shortcuts and assign a key combination for “Add current tab to reading list”. A setup page with step-by-step instructions is available under Extension options. When the shortcut is not assigned, the toolbar icon shows a “!” badge — you can still click the icon to add the current tab. Changelog: v1.2.0 * Detect when the keyboard shortcut was not assigned (for example due to a conflict) and warn on install. * Add a setup/options page with shortcut status and configuration steps. * Show a “!” badge on the toolbar icon when the shortcut is unset. * Allow adding the current tab by clicking the toolbar icon. * Change the suggested default shortcut to Alt + Shift + R. * Clearer notifications for unsupported pages, duplicates, and errors. v1.1.0 * Show a notification when a page is added to the reading list, and when adding fails.
