Overview
Shows a badge on the toolbar showing the count of unread items in the reading list.
Frustrated with the fact that I'd add something to my Chrome reading list while lying in bed, and forget about it for days because there's no badge anywhere to remind me that I put something there, I looked around for a solution. I didn't find something that works _with_ the reading list, only things that would replace it, and why should I? So after some searching and a little bit of brushing up on JavaScript, I present Reading List Counter - a simple extension that gives you an icon in your toolbar with a badge showing the number of unread items in your reading list. If you add/remove/modify something there, the badge will update automagically, and if you click on it the reading list will open as a full tab.
