ReadHalo reads articles aloud and highlights each word as it’s spoken. The page stays exactly as it was. Open an article, choose the ReadHalo icon, then Listen to this page. The player appears on the page. Press Play. WHILE YOU LISTEN • The sentence and the word being spoken are highlighted, so you always know where you are. • Scroll away and the voice keeps going. Follow along brings you back. • Click any sentence to start from there. Links still open, and you can still select text. • Set the pace from 0.5× to 2.5× in Reading options. The highlight keeps up. ON THE PAGES YOU ALREADY READ Articles, blogs, newsletters and docs, with their layout left alone. On X and Reddit, each post gets its own Listen button. Choose where the player appears, site by site: Automatically, When I open it, or Never. Nothing plays until you press Play. VOICES Device voices are free and need no account. They’re the voices your computer and browser already have, so the choice varies by system. Premium voices: Heart, Bella, Michael, Emma and George. Natural voices, with each word highlighted as it’s spoken. Hear each one before you sign in. FREE AND PREMIUM Free: device voices, highlighting and every reading control, with no account. Sign in from the ReadHalo icon for 50,000 characters of Premium voices free every month, about an hour of listening, with no card. Premium: ₹149/month for 500,000 characters a month, about 10 hours of listening. Checkout is on your ReadHalo account page, with Razorpay. Cancel renewal any time from Manage account. Audio you’ve played is saved in this browser for up to 30 days, and replaying it doesn’t use more characters while your access lasts. A different voice or speed, audio that’s no longer saved, or audio played in an Incognito window (which isn’t saved) is made again and uses characters. PRIVACY • With a device voice, the text goes to your browser’s speech engine, not to ReadHalo. • Some of Chrome’s own voices, such as Google’s, are online: Chrome sends the text to Google to speak it. • Text you play with a Premium voice goes to our voice service to make the audio. • ReadHalo doesn’t send the addresses of the pages you visit. It has no ads. We collect limited product usage analytics to improve setup, listening and reliability. No page addresses, titles, reading text, browsing history, email or IP addresses go to PostHog. • Why ReadHalo asks to read and change data on all sites: it finds the article on a page so the player or Listen buttons can appear there.
