A feature-packed distraction-free web reader with dyslexia support and research tools
Reader Mode is a feature-packed Chrome reading extension and web app that removes clutter, ads and distractions, while also includes dyslexia support, bookmarking, annotating, highlighting, text-to-speech as well as safe-browsing (ensuring you wont land on any malicious urls) and many other features all in one tool. The click stream data collected from our safe-browsing feature is being sent to our API for evaluation and analysis. Bonus: We aim to enhance the environmental friendliness of our extension. As part of our efforts, we provide you with the opportunity to engage in carbon offsetting (Eco-Mode of planting trees) at no cost, as it is 100% supported by our affiliate partners. This is an optional feature that you can deactivate whenever you want. Works great, but these eco mode pop-ups are irritating. If you're going to have this mode, then when it's activated, people should know that by activating it, they are consenting to annoying pop-ups. I didn't even know this app was the reason for these pop-ups until I finally noticed their name in the URL. Then I had to come to this review page to find out how to disable it.
