Automatically gives IMSLP PDF downloads readable, user-configurable names from score metadata.
Readable IMSLP PDFs replaces cryptic IMSLP download filenames with clear, configurable names built from score metadata already shown on each work page. Choose the classic format or build your own from composer, work title, catalogue number, instrument or part, edition, IMSLP ID, and custom text. Drag fields into order and preview the result before saving. Missing metadata is omitted cleanly. Only recognized IMSLP PDF downloads are renamed; unrelated downloads are left untouched. All processing happens locally in Chrome. Preferences and temporary metadata remain on your device. The extension makes no network requests and does not collect or transmit data. Readable IMSLP PDFs is an independent extension and is not affiliated with or endorsed by IMSLP or the Petrucci Music Library.
