Read Aloud: A Text to Speech Voice Reader

its very good i use it a lot !! but could u please add an option to make reading slower/faster ? i use text to speech to follow along with the words since it helps me focus and engrain it in my mind better, but its a bit disconcerting when the speed at which my eyes are reading isnt the same as the speed at which im hearing the text

Good extension, it worked well for me :)

This was so easy to start using. It installed into my browser immediately. Within seconds, I was able to highlight text, right click, and select this extension from the pop-up menu. It immediately began to read aloud the text. So far, this is great for emails. I use it in conjunction with a large language learning model (LLM or colloquially known as an "AI" chat bot), where I ask the LLM to summarize my emails and then I get this "Read Aloud" extension to read aloud the summaries. Easy to use. No sign-up. Free. A trick is to select text to read instead of reading the whole document so it will avoid forward, table of content, etc.. It'd be great if it could give option to ignore certain words such as "Table of Content", page number, carriage returns.
