Ravionix — AI scam protection
Overview
Check if a URL, SMS, or password is a scam or breached — AI reasoning. Links are hashed at our edge; passwords on your device.
Ravionix reads links and messages the way a careful person would, then tells you exactly why it trusts them, or why it doesn't. No blacklists. No tracking. No third-party JavaScript. Open the side panel, docked to the edge of your browser window. It is organized into four tabs: • This site: paste a suspicious link, SMS, or email and get a reasoned verdict in seconds, plus a list of your recent checks. To check the page you are on, right-click it and choose "Check this page URL with Ravionix." • Passwords: check whether a password has appeared in a known data breach. It is SHA-1-hashed in your browser first, so your password never leaves your device. Only the first five characters of that hash are stored or sent to the breach database (k-anonymity). • Breaches: check whether your email has turned up in a known breach (opens the breach checker on ravionix.com; breach checks and monitoring are part of Pro, coming soon). • Tips: short, plain tips for spotting scams, built into the extension (nothing is downloaded), with links to free lessons at RAVIONIX Learn. The panel stays open while you keep reading, so you can check link after link without reopening it. WHAT YOU GET • An AI-reasoned verdict (safe, suspicious, scam, or unknown) with a confidence score • A plain-English explanation of every signal it caught, such as typosquatting, urgency pressure, credential harvesting, and suspicious TLDs • A password breach check with a severity rating and clear next steps • 3 free AI checks a day with a free sign-in (Continue with Google or Microsoft), counted for your account, not your network • Your check history, saved to your account • Right-click any link or text to check it • Think a verdict is wrong? Report it right under the result. Reports are reviewed to improve the AI (the verdict itself never changes automatically) • Settings: light, dark or system appearance and 12 accent colours • No account? Try it at ravionix.com/scan • Pro (a larger monthly allowance plus breach monitoring) and credit packs are coming soon. Payments are paused during early access; join the waitlist at hello@ravionix.com PRIVACY COMMITMENT • Links, messages and emails are sent over TLS to our Cloudflare edge and SHA-256-hashed there, before they reach our servers • Passwords are SHA-1-hashed in your browser; the raw password never leaves your device, and only a 5-character prefix of the hash is stored • We keep a one-way hash, the verdict and the AI's reasoning. Only if a site is rated a scam with 80%+ confidence do we also keep its domain name, never linked to you. Never the full link, message or password • No third-party JavaScript in the extension: no analytics SDK, no Sentry, nothing • No tracking pixels, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting • The source code is private today; we plan to publish it so the privacy claims can be checked independently SINGLE PURPOSE Check whether a URL, SMS, or password is a scam or has been compromised, using AI reasoning, privacy-first.
