Rat Race is a small running game about office life that opens in a popup when you click its icon. Jump, dodge, grab your salary. No sign-up, no internet needed. It fits in a coffee break. Longer breaks are between you and your manager. WHAT'S INSIDE • One city per level, 65 in all. You start in Luxembourg and head for places like Paris, Tokyo, Lagos and Constantinople. Each city has its own sky, skyline, landmarks and flag. • Local obstacles. In Paris you can be taken out by a strike. In London, by a queue. • A wallet. Collect € on the way and spend them to unlock cities, then start your run from any city you have unlocked. Grab 8 flags in one run for a ×2 score. • Daily commute. Same course for everyone, 3 counted attempts a day, then practice as much as you like. Get to the office on time, then keep going into overtime until burn-out. • Commuter level. The evening trip home from Luxembourg to one of 5 towns across the border, such as Metz or Trier. Broken-down cars and stalled trains are platforms. Traffic-jam monsters are not. Every € you grab takes 0.25 s off your time. • 4 difficulties and 4 languages: English, French, German and Luxembourgish. • 5 runners: a man, a woman or the rat in its ball, then two to unlock: a red fox after 50 m in one run, and the red lion of Luxembourg after 1,000 m. • Boss key. Press B and the game turns into a very dull spreadsheet. Press B again when the coast is clear. • Share your result. One click copies a short line of text, with a link to the website, to your clipboard. CONTROLS Space or Up arrow to jump (hold to jump higher). Down arrow to duck. P to pause, M for sound, B for the boss key. The ⤢ link at the bottom of the menu opens the game in a full tab. PRIVACY, IN PLAIN WORDS • No permissions requested. • No analytics, no account, no ads. The extension itself makes no network request. • Your progress (records, wallet, unlocked cities, settings) stays in the extension's local storage on your computer. Removing the extension erases it. • Everything is inside the package, fonts included, so it runs offline. • Apart from the bundled privacy page, the links at the bottom of the menu open the author's websites in a new tab.
