Your YouTube homepage can start to feel like the same few ideas repeating forever. Random YouTube Discovery adds a simple “Random discoveries” row near the top of YouTube. It is not another recommendation engine. It does not try to optimize your watch time, learn your personality, or slowly become a second algorithm. Instead, it shows a fresh random sample of public videos seen by other people using the extension. When your feed feels stale, press Randomize and get a different slice of the shared pool.
