Random Bible: Bible Verse of the Day on Every New Tab

Bible verse of the day on every new tab, over a calm photo. Save verses, read any chapter, play Bible quizzes. Works offline.

Random Bible puts a Bible verse of the day on every new tab. Each morning a new verse appears over a calm photo, with a clock and the date above it. You open a tab to check your mail, and you read a line of Scripture first. 📖 BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY The verse changes at midnight and stays the same all day, on every tab and in the side panel. Want more? Press "Another verse" for a random one, and "Back to today's verse" brings the day's verse back. "Previous verse" steps back through the verses you have already seen. Every reference links to its full chapter on random-bible.com. 🧭 VERSES FOR HOW YOU FEEL Pick a mood next to the verse: anxious, afraid, grieving, hurting, hopeless, weary, tempted, grateful, seeking peace or struggling. From then on every verse comes from a set chosen by hand for that moment, and the verse of the day follows it. 🔖 SAVE YOUR FAVORITE VERSES Press the bookmark under a verse and it goes to your Saved list in the side panel. Search the list, open the chapter of any verse, or remove one, with Undo in case you pressed by mistake. The number on the panel button shows how many verses you have kept. 📋 COPY AND SHARE Copy a verse with its reference in one click, or turn it into an image over the same photo and share it or save it. 🗂️ THE SIDE PANEL One button on the new tab opens the side panel, and the same button closes it. Inside: • Today: the verse of the day on its photo, with Keep and Copy. • Bible: all 66 books of the Old and New Testament, with a search. Pick a book and a chapter, and it opens in a full reader on random-bible.com, in the edition you chose. • Explore: Bible quizzes, word searches, guided reading and guides for small groups, for passages such as Psalm 23, the Good Samaritan and the Lord's Prayer. They open on random-bible.com, where there is room to play. • Saved: every verse you have kept. 🎨 MAKE THE NEW TAB YOURS • A new photo every day, or a different one with one click. You can also upload your own photo and choose how much it is dimmed. • Web search in the corner, using the search engine you chose in Chrome. • A 12 or 24-hour clock, with seconds and a leading zero if you like. Hide the clock, the date or the reference. • A light, dark or system theme for the side panel. 🌍 TEN LANGUAGES The interface and the verses come in English, German, Spanish, French, Hungarian, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian and Chinese. Each language uses a classic public domain translation. In English you can choose the King James Version, the World English Bible or the American Standard Version. 🔌 WORKS OFFLINE Every verse, every mood set and the list of books ship inside the extension, so verses appear at once, even without a connection. Only the photo gallery refreshes from random-bible.com, and chapters and games open there. 🔒 YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU Your saved verses and settings stay in Chrome's storage on your device. The extension cannot read the pages you visit. 🙏 WHO IT IS FOR People who want a daily habit of reading Scripture without one more app to open. Small group leaders who need a quiz for Sunday. Anyone who would rather see a verse than a news feed when a tab opens. Families who want a verse on the shared home computer.
