Uses the WaniKani API to show a random radical, vocabulary word, or kanji from your current level, right from the toolbar.

Randamu is a lightweight companion for your WaniKani reviews. Instead of opening the WaniKani website, click the toolbar icon for an instant, random radical, vocabulary word, or kanji pulled from your current level, a quick refresher without a context switch. HOW IT WORKS - Paste your WaniKani API token (v2, read-only) once. It's encrypted on your device (AES-256-GCM via the browser's Web Crypto API, with a non-extractable encryption key) before being stored — the unencrypted token never touches disk. - Randamu fetches every radical, vocabulary, and kanji item up to your current level and caches it locally for 24 hours, refreshing automatically when you level up or on demand. - Each click shows a new random item: its character, meaning, and reading. PRIVACY Randamu only talks to the official WaniKani API (api.wanikani.com) directly from your browser. Your API token and review data are never sent to any third-party server, there is no backend, no analytics, no tracking.
