Raisi Investor Research
Overview
Save LinkedIn investors to your Raisi workspace from the browser.
What it does: Raisi Investor Research is a companion extension for Raisi (raisi.ai). It lets you capture investors from LinkedIn profile pages and save them to your Raisi workspace without copying and pasting links into another tab. Use it when you are doing fundraising research, investor mapping, or outreach planning and want a fast way to turn a profile you are viewing into a record in Raisi. Who it is for: Founders, fundraisers, and teams that use Raisi to organize investor relationships and research. The extension is useless without a Raisi account; it is not a general LinkedIn tool. How you use it: 1. Sign in to Raisi in your browser and create or copy your extension key (from your Raisi account / profile area, as shown in the app). 2. Open the extension, go to Settings, and paste and save that key. The extension will validate the key with Raisi. 3. Open a LinkedIn member profile in a normal tab (the linkedin.com/in/... address). 4. Click the extension icon and use Add to Raisi to send that person to your Raisi workspace. 5. You can also add an investor manually in the extension (for example, name, headline, and LinkedIn URL) when the automatic path does not apply. What gets sent to Raisi: When you save someone, the extension sends prospect information to Raisi’s API (for example: name, headline when you provide it, and LinkedIn profile URLs). It communicates only with Raisi’s web application (and your configured Raisi API origin), not with unrelated third parties for this core action. The extension also keeps a local list of saved investors in Chrome storage on your device so you can see recent adds and remove entries from the list in the popup. What it does not do: – It does not replace LinkedIn or grant access to your LinkedIn account. – It is not made by, endorsed by, or affiliated with LinkedIn. – It does not add features inside the LinkedIn website itself beyond using the current tab’s URL when you are on a standard profile page (and optional manual entry in the extension UI). Permissions (plain language): – Storage: saves your Raisi connection key and a local list of recently added investors. – Tabs / active tab: reads the URL of the active tab so it can tell when you are on a LinkedIn profile and build the add action; opens Raisi pages in a new tab when you use those links. – Host access: limited to your Raisi app/API origins so the extension can log in, validate the key, and save prospects. (Localhost may appear in development builds only.) Support & privacy For questions, account issues, and how Raisi processes data, use the contact and policies published on raisi.ai and inside the Raisi app. The Chrome Web Store listing should match your Privacy practices and Data usage disclosures in the Developer Dashboard; keep those in sync with this description and your privacy policy.
