Raisa — family history helper

Raisa looks for records about your family on archive sites in your own Chrome. You do sign-ins and robot checks yourself.

Raisa is a family-history assistant in Telegram (@famstorybot). She asks about your relatives, searches archives for documents, and builds a page for your family with a tree and a story on a map. Many archives only admit a real person: they ask you to sign in or pass an “I’m not a robot” check. This extension lets Raisa search such sites in your own Chrome, so you don’t have to search for anything or send screenshots. How it works: • You connect the extension to Raisa with a code from Telegram — once. • When a search is needed, Raisa opens an archive site in a tab group named “Raisa”, types the query herself, reads the results and saves the documents she finds. • If a site asks you to sign in or pass an “I’m not a robot” check, the extension shows a notification and Raisa messages you in Telegram. You sign in yourself — Raisa never sees your passwords — and she carries on from there. What the extension can and cannot do: • • It works only on a short list of genealogy archive sites, and on any other archive only after you allow it. • If Raisa needs one more archive site, the helper asks you: click “Allow ” and Chrome shows its own permission prompt. Without your consent it has no access to that site. • Only in tabs of the “Raisa” group that it opened itself. • It cannot see your passwords, cookies, history, other tabs or other sites. • It can be paused or unlinked with one click. • The helper speaks Ukrainian, Russian and English — whichever you use with Raisa. Everything found goes only to your family’s private page. The /delete command in the bot removes it all.
