Overview

Inspect Rails request profiles in a DevTools panel. Requires the rails-profiler gem installed in your Rails app.

Rails Profiler adds a panel to Chrome DevTools that shows the profile of every request your Rails app serves, next to the page you are debugging. Requires the rails-profiler gem installed in your Rails app. Without it, the extension has nothing to display. What you get - A DevTools panel listing the requests made by your app, with status and duration, filterable by status. - The full profile of a selected request, rendered by your own profiler dashboard (/_profiler). - Live refresh of the list while you browse. - A settings page where you set the address of your Rails server and test the connection. - A button to clear the profiles stored on your server. Privacy by design - You choose the one server the extension talks to. Access is requested for that origin only, when you save it, and you can withdraw it at any time in chrome://extensions. - Nothing is sent to the developer or to any third party. No analytics, no remote code. Not affiliated with Ruby on Rails or 37signals.
