R2D2 facilitates managing 2FA codes and autofills forms to expedite access. The tool protects credentials locally through advanced encryption. R2D2 facilitates generating and managing two-factor authentication (2FA) codes. The interface prioritizes usability to expedite account access and keeps data secured on the local device. USAGE AND INTERACTION Autofill fields: The extension detects 2FA inputs on webpages. Upon clicking, the system inserts the corresponding codes to streamline login. Synchronize the clock: R2D2 links its internal clock with Google servers. This process adjusts time drifts and ensures the validity of the generated codes. Back up data to the cloud: Users save their configurations directly to Google Drive. The system encrypts the information before transmitting it to maintain key control on the client. SECURITY MECHANISMS Derive cryptographic keys: The tool employs the Argon2id algorithm to derive keys. This protects the password vault against external access attempts. Encrypt locally: The system encrypts accounts using the AES-256-GCM standard. Data remains stored exclusively within the browser. Isolate critical processes: R2D2 executes intensive cryptographic operations in separate environments via the Offscreen API. This separation maintains the performance of the main interface. TRANSPARENT ARCHITECTURE The repository exposes the source code and omits third-party libraries or telemetry systems. Users can review the lines of code directly in their browser or the public repository to audit processes independently. MULTILINGUAL SUPPORT Operate in 60 languages: The interface includes translations for sixty languages. This ranges from English, Spanish, French, and German, to Hindi, Arabic, Japanese, and multiple regional variants, to facilitate global use. What's New (First Release): Implements TOTP/HOTP protocols. Detects and autofills fields on webpages. Protects keys with Argon2id. Enables encrypted backups to Google Drive. Supports 60 languages.
