USAGE AND INTERACTION Autofill fields: The extension detects 2FA inputs on webpages. Upon clicking, the system inserts the corresponding codes to streamline login. Synchronize the clock: R2D2 links its internal clock with Google servers. This process adjusts time drifts and ensures the validity of the generated codes. Back up data to the cloud: Users save their configurations directly to Google Drive. The system encrypts the information before transmitting it to maintain key control on the client. SECURITY MECHANISMS Derive cryptographic keys: The tool employs the Argon2id algorithm to derive keys. This protects the password vault against external access attempts. Encrypt locally: The system encrypts accounts using the AES-256-GCM standard. Data remains stored exclusively within the browser. Isolate critical processes: R2D2 executes intensive cryptographic operations in separate environments via the Offscreen API. This separation maintains the performance of the main interface.
