Overview
Open, edit, export, save, and convert Word, Markdown, TXT, or PDF documents from Chrome.
QwikWord is a lightweight Word and PDF editor for Chrome. It helps users open, edit, export, save, and convert documents directly from the browser. QwikWord supports common document workflows for Word-compatible files, Markdown, TXT, and PDF. Users can edit rich text, use document templates, insert tables and images, check word count, export to DOCX, DOC, PDF, or TXT, and convert PDF files to Word when server-side conversion is required. QwikWord is built for one purpose: document editing and conversion in Chrome. It does not read browsing history, does not inject content into websites, and does not run on arbitrary web pages. Some files are processed locally in Chrome. Files that require import, export, or conversion through the QwikWord backend are sent only after the user chooses a document action that requires that processing. Exported files are saved to the user's computer through Chrome downloads. QwikWord does not sell user data, does not use document content for advertising, and does not store document content in Chrome storage.
