Qwen Code
Overview
Bridge between Chrome browser and Qwen CLI for enhanced AI interactions
Connect Qwen Code to Chrome for AI-assisted browser tasks and web development. This companion extension connects your browser to Qwen Code running on your own computer. Use Browser Use from Qwen Code to inspect pages, interact with websites, capture page screenshots, and investigate web application behavior. Browser Use can list open HTTP(S) tabs, organize its working tabs into groups, and search browser history when a task calls for it. The Chrome side panel displays the chat and tools served by your local Qwen Code daemon. Open the panel and follow its startup command to connect it to Qwen Code. Browser Use connects separately through a local Native Messaging host. Requires a compatible installation of Qwen Code and Node.js 22 or newer. AI features use the model provider configured in Qwen Code; provider accounts and service charges may apply. The optional Web Shell browser automation integration requires a separately configured Chrome DevTools MCP adapter. When you use browser tools, page content, URLs, screenshots, browser history results, and other task results can be passed to local Qwen Code and included in requests to your configured AI provider. Review the privacy policy and your provider settings before working with sensitive pages. Chrome displays its debugging indicator while a debugger session is attached.
