Qwant - Search engine

I did not get this extension to work in Chromium 127.0.6533.88 for Linux, installed as a snap package. The extension gets activated when I type "q " on the address bar, but adding search keyword(s) and pressing enter doesn't seem to launch the search. As a hint for work-around: I managed to make Qwant the default search engine by using the URL string "https://www.qwant.com?q=%s&client=opensearch" .

Great search results with no ads

I've installed Qwant almost by accident (it was one of the search engines suggested by the Brave browser), from the very first searches it gave me a series of answers and information that other engines too often pretend to ignore (probably not profitable information), I'm more and more satisfied with Qwant's answers!

Pretty decent alternative for Google. Less annoying ads based on browsing history.
