Oil on Paper. I am relating life hungering for itself and in the face of seeming chaos finding a garden of possibility, Spirit and meaning. Looking at the world around me in new way I can live with an intentionality and connection to all things. Richard D. York is a citizen of Cherokee Nation with an MFA in Visual Studies from Pacific Northwest College of Art Hallie Ford School of Graduate Studies. He lives in Sequoyah County of Cherokee Nation with his wife Rini and three children.
