Quirksee
Overview
Self-hosted bug reporting tool
Quirksee captures a bug and packs the evidence into one file you can send to whoever needs to fix it. 🎬 Record the tab or your desktop, or grab a screenshot of a region or a single element. Mark up the capture with arrows, shapes, text, and blur. Trim the video, then download a ZIP. The archive includes the capture, a network log, console output, the clicks and navigation that led to the bug, and basic device details. 🔒 Nothing is uploaded. There is no account and no server. The report stays on your computer until you choose to share the ZIP. Quirksee needs access to the page you are reporting so it can take the capture and attach the console, clicks, and network log from that page. Cookies, tokens, and password fields in the network log are redacted before export. How to use it: 1. Open the page where the bug happens. 2. Click the Quirksee icon. 3. Take a screenshot or start a recording. Recordings stop automatically after 3 minutes. Turn the microphone on if you want to narrate. 4. Annotate the capture and download the ZIP. 5. Send that file with your bug report. Optional: turn on Instant Replay in Settings to keep the last minute of the tab, then save it when the bug appears.
