Keep your thoughts beside the webpage that sparked them. Quillcrypt lets you highlight text, underline key points, draw freehand, add arrows, rectangles and ellipses, and leave personal notes on webpages. Open the annotation list to find your notes and revisit the details you marked. Click the Quillcrypt extension icon on a normal webpage to activate the tools. Your annotations are saved in this Chrome profile and restored when you return to the same page. This basic edition is free and works without an account. It does not provide team collaboration or cloud sync. Your personal annotations are stored locally; they are not claimed to be encrypted at rest. Clearing extension data or uninstalling removes those annotations. Chrome’s internal pages, the Chrome Web Store, and other browser-protected pages cannot be annotated. Changes made by a website may affect where older annotations can be restored.
