Quietwall puts a clear, local security layer between you and unwanted web traffic. Its packaged Chrome rules stop requests to a curated set of common advertising, bidding, cross-site tracking, session-replay, fingerprinting, malvertising, push-abuse, and deceptive-redirect hosts. Eligible plain-HTTP requests can be upgraded to HTTPS. Blocking runs in Chrome's efficient local rules engine—without sending your browsing history to a server. Quietwall checks obvious address characteristics such as plain HTTP, punycode, IP-address hosts, embedded credentials, deep subdomains, and nonstandard ports.
