QuietRefresh: Auto Refresh When Away
Overview
Auto-refresh a tab on a timer, but pause while you're using it. Never lose what you were typing or reading.
Most auto-refresh extensions reload the page no matter what, even while you're scrolling, reading, or halfway through typing a reply. QuietRefresh only refreshes when you're not looking. How it works • Pick an interval (30 seconds to 1 hour) and click Start. • While the tab is in front of you and you're active, QuietRefresh holds off. • Switch tabs, move to another window, minimize, or step away from the computer, and refreshing picks up again. • Great for dashboards on a second monitor, order queues, ticket portals, class-registration and appointment pages, live scores, and status pages. Free • Auto-refresh one tab at a time • Pause-while-looking (focus + idle detection) • Refresh counter and last-refresh time Pro ($4.99 one-time, buy at https://quietrefresh.vercel.app, then paste the license key in Options) • Keyword alerts: get a desktop notification when text like "In stock" or "Available" appears • Unlimited tabs at once Privacy No account. No servers. No analytics. Settings stay in your browser. Site access is only requested if you turn on keyword alerts. Note: Chrome limits extension timers to a minimum of 30 seconds, so that's the shortest interval.
