Quiet Piggy Filter
Overview
Replaces every mention of 'Trump' with 'Piggy' on web pages.
Tired of seeing the same name in every headline and comment section? Quiet Piggy Filter is a tiny Chrome extension that does one simple thing very well: it replaces every mention of “Trump” on web pages with “Piggy.” No complex settings. No dashboards. Just a little linguistic makeover for your timeline. What it does Scans the text on pages you visit Finds any instance of the word “Trump” (case-insensitive) Replaces it with “Piggy” in real time Works on static pages and dynamic sites (like news feeds and social media) Examples: “Donald Trump speaks at…” → “Donald Piggy speaks at…” “Trump said today that…” → “Piggy said today that…” It does not change the underlying links or URLs, only the visible text. Why use it? You want a bit less doomscrolling and a bit more absurdity You’re exhausted by never-ending headlines about the same person You’d like to keep up with the news, but with a small buffer of humour You enjoy the feeling of reclaiming your own feed, even in a tiny way Think of it as a visual filter for your brain: same information, much sillier packaging. Key features 🧠 Lightweight & simple – no login, no account, no tracking 🌐 Works on most websites – news, blogs, social feeds, etc. 🔁 Auto-updates text – continues to work as new content loads on the page 🎯 Focused – only targets the word “Trump”; everything else stays untouched How to use Install Quiet Piggy Filter from the Chrome Web Store. Make sure it’s enabled in chrome://extensions. Browse as normal. Any “Trump” you encounter becomes “Piggy.” That’s it. No configuration required. Privacy Quiet Piggy Filter does not collect, store, or send your browsing data anywhere. All text replacement happens locally in your browser. There are no analytics, no ads, no trackers. Notes & limitations The extension only replaces visible text on the page, not URLs, images, or video subtitles. On very complex sites, there may be the occasional spot it misses or a visual glitch while text updates. If a site heavily modifies content after load, you may see the original word briefly before it flips to “Piggy.”
