Quiet Cut is a focused offline video-editing instrument that presents a reel as two connected terrains: sound activity above the center line and visual motion below it. The editor helps locate quiet valleys, preserve motion peaks, and build a concise edit without a conventional multitrack timeline. Import a local video or load the included synthetic demo reel. Adjust the quiet floor, automatically remove low-activity regions, and click any region to override the decision. Locked manual choices survive later automatic passes. Export Edit Map creates a JSON edit decision list containing source and timeline in/out points for every retained region. Videos remain local. The extension has no accounts, upload service, advertising, analytics, remote assets, or network features.
