QuickRec
Overview
Record your screen and voice in one click. MP4 that plays everywhere, with an instant share link.
QuickRec is a one-click screen recorder. Press Start, talk, press Finish. You get an MP4 that plays on any device, saved on your PC, and, if you want it, a share link that is ready the moment you stop. WHAT YOU GET • Record your entire screen, one window or a single tab, with your voice from any microphone. • Pause and resume. A keyboard shortcut (Alt+Shift+R) starts, pauses and resumes without opening the popup. • A real MP4 (H.264 + AAC), encoded on your computer while you record. No conversion step, no waiting at the end. • Quality up to 4K on screens that support it. Normal 1080p by default to keep files small. • A countdown before recording starts, an automatic stop at the length you choose, and a warning before large files. • Light and dark themes. WHERE RECORDINGS GO • This PC: saved to a folder inside Downloads, named by date and time. • Your own server: run the QuickRec server on Cloudflare (the source is included) and every recording uploads while you record. Finish, and the link is already on your clipboard. Choose who can watch: anyone with the link, your team only, or people with a code. See who watched and when. • Google Drive or YouTube: connect your own Google account and upload there instead.
