How so? All the same functionality is there; just new features have been added. The migration to manifest V3 that Google is forcing on every extension has made it less responsive in some cases, but I'm working on some things to try to address that.

Came here to complain about the 2.0 but below the author explains how the earlier functionality is still there, just a bit tricky to find. Phew! Otherwise absolutely gigachad of an extension, my top three I can no longer live without.

Glad you're finding it useful, and sorry you couldn't initially find the controls. I guess opening the Options page to the Popup Window section on install didn't help? Or did it not appear for you?

If you suffer from symptoms of a chronic way-too-many-tabs-open then this plugin is the cure. It allows you to keep your wicked tabs open but now you can navigate through those tabs based on history or by search - with a push of a button.

It was one of my favorite extensions just before 2.0 version where release (( Please, make it optional to use the new pop-up  It's really uncomfortable to have pop-up window opened all the time. I'm using multiple chrome profiles and that's really weird to see multiple pop-up windows (yours) while switching with system keys (like Alt-Tab). You ruined my day...

Yes, the popup window in 2.0 is optional. Just don't use the keyboard shortcuts for "Open/Search in alt-tab-style popup", and instead just use the shortcut for "Activate the extension". That shows the menu on the toolbar just like it always did. You can also uncheck the setting for "Show popup window while navigating recent tabs" in the Options page, which then won't show the popup while using the "Switch to previous/next tab" shortcuts. As for having a popup for each profile, there's nothing I can do about that, as each profile has an independent set of extensions that are enabled for it. If you did want to use the popup with multiple profiles and are bothered by seeing the extra windows in the alt-tab menu, you could set the "Hide the popup window" option to "In a tab" (that needs to be set in each profile, since, again, they're all independent). The tradeoff is that you'll see an extra tab in the last window of each profile, but the upside is it won't be in the alt-tab list.

Very amazing! But why everytime I reopen the computer , the shortkeys changes I made just get back to the default way? ------------------------------------------------------------ I just found that for everytime I use the wise care 365 to clear the computer, the shortcut changes(I made in the option page) are just gone, and I dont't know how to stop it.

Are these shortcut changes you made in the Extensions Keyboard Shortcuts section of Chrome settings, or in the options page for QuicKey? If the former, it sounds like something is wrong with your installation of Chrome. If the latter, I'm not sure. Do other changes that you make to QuicKey options also get forgotten every time you restart, like whether or not to show the tab count on the toolbar icon? If so, it sounds like the extension is getting reset on every Chrome restart. Is Chrome restarting in a different user profile? Each profile has independent settings, so you'll need to change the options once for each profile. But they should still persist across restarts.

Perfect little helper. The only thing is pinning ability, pinning some tabs would be great.

Good one, but since it is Manifest 2 - consider switching to new tab switchers, check one named Switch Tabs Shortcut
